Thank you for visiting me, my name is Sharon and I am The Restoration Queen!

 

I was born and brought up in Swansea in South Wales. In my early twenties I moved to Surrey, where I had a change of career and retrained as an Interior Designer. In my thirties I moved to Henley on Thames in Oxfordshire and then in the summer of 2022 I finally settled in the lovely market town of Kington in Herefordshire.

Having worked as an Interior Designer for over 17 years.  I now have the privilege of combining my two passions... design and antiques.

​

Taking inspiration from what is around me, I love to incorporate anything from nature, to ancient prints on textiles and crumbling paintwork within architectural features. Inspiration truly is... all around.

​

I simply adore giving things a second life, a new look, taking quality furniture, giving it a little bit more characterisation, and sometimes colour where colour is needed, to create a new bespoke piece.

Instead of shopping for new... recreate.

​

​All things can be lovingly reimagined into a new treasure, giving a truly unique finish.

​

Now that I have my new life in Herefordshire, If  I am not scouring the markets and local auctions for pieces, I am exploring the local countryside and Herefordshire hills with my husband Simon and our two Pointer dogs, Maggie and Cleo.
